Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, these custom bookcases were tailored to meet the specific needs of the space.

With thousands of books to accommodate, the shelves were built to precise dimensions, ensuring strength and durability without overwhelming the apartment's modest size. Each piece was carefully test-assembled in our workshop to guarantee a perfect fit before installation—an essential step given the small lift access and location three stories up.

Sprayed with a paint lacquer colour-matched to Resene Spanish White, the floor-to-ceiling bookcases add elegance and seamless integration to the home. The standout piece is the media wall unit featuring solid American Oak slatted details, inspired by the apartments original kitchen slat wall. Finished in a rich, dark stain, the unit includes special touches such as an Oak cable grommet, push-to-open doors for concealed electronics, and LED lighting to highlight the beautiful slatted design.

This project is a testament to thoughtful planning, precision craftsmanship, and innovative design, proving that even challenging spaces can be transformed into functional, beautiful environments.
